Jadeja cleared to join Test squad; Iyer doubtful for Nagpur opener
All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been cleared to participate in the series-opening Nagpur Test against Australia by the National Cricket Academy. A fitness report on his readiness to participate was issued by the NCA on Wednesday (February 1), paving the way for him to join the rest of the squad in Nagpur, where the team will have a short camp in preparation for the Test and the series.
Temba Bavuma gets SA20 deal after impressive hundred against England
Temba Bavuma's performances in South Africa's 2-1 ODI series win over England have landed him an SA20 deal after he was snubbed at the auction last year. Bavuma will replace Tom Abell at Sunrisers Eastern Cape. Bavuma's big-hitting impressed the franchise to call him in for Abell, who will be joining England Lions.
