India Clinch yet another Bilateral

Suryakumar Yadav's sublime century - his third in only 43 T20I innings - set up a series win for India against Sri Lanka. Batting first in the decider, India scored 228 out of which Suryakumar hit 112 off just 51 balls. It was an innings full of trademark Suryakumar shots: inside-out drives over extra cover, ramps over short fine leg and wrists used to manufacture shots over square leg and point, to clinch yet another Bilateral series win.

SA hold off Australia in a final day draw

South Africa defied Australia's bold push for an improbable victory, and series sweep, as the third Test ended in a draw at the SCG. Sarel Erwee, Heinrich Klaasen, and Temba Bavuma played out the final session on Day 5 in Sydney to secure a draw and keep South Africa's hopes of making the WTC final alive.

WTC Table After Australia & South Africa Series

Mathematically eliminated teams - Bangladesh, Pakistan, New Zealand

Other Teams under contention :

England - Since England do not play any more Tests in this cycle, they are solely reliant on other results in order to qualify for the WTC Final.

West Indies - West Indies need to win 2-0 in South Africa in order to have any chance of qualifying for the WTC Final. Even the next best scenario, i.e. a 1-0 win in South Africa will result in guaranteed elimination.

Sri Lanka - Sri Lanka needs at least a draw in New Zealand in order to have any chance of qualifying for the WTC Final.

South Africa - South Africa need at least a 1-1 draw against West Indies in order to have any chance of qualifying for the WTC Final. Even the next best scenario, i.e. a 0-0 draw vs West Indies will result in guaranteed elimination.

India & Australia - If both of them Draw the series, both will go through. If India loses there are chances they can go out.

Quote of the Day 🗣️

"I think it's really important for you to put pressure on yourself when you're preparing for any game,". "In your practice sessions, it is very important what you do, what process and routines you follow. And if you put a lot of pressure on yourself when you are doing practice and during the sessions, then it gets a little easier when you're playing a game.
