Indian batters being Timid once again in small chase 🐯

Seven wickets fell in the final session of a topsy-turvy Day 3 but the home side dragged the scales back to balance as India lost four of those wickets to fall. Bangladesh set a target of 145 and then proceeded to dismantle India's top order as Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Shakib Al Hasan dismissed KL Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli for just 37 runs. India finished the day on 45 for 4 with Axar Patel and Jaydev Unadkat in the middle and 100 more to get.

The Unfolding of Pakistan Cricket - Shahid Afridi is the New Chief Selector 🍿

Yesterday we mentioned about Chief Selector Mohammed Wasim was sacked by the new PCB management committee. Today they announced. Today, PCB Management Committee has appointed former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi as the interim Chair of the Men’s National Selection Committee. Other members of the panel are Abdul Razzaq and Rao Iftikhar Anjum. Haroon Rashid will be the Convener. For people in World Cricket, get a new popcorn. This circus will continue.

Wasim Akram Nailed it - Summarizes what's happening with Cricket in Pakistan

People complain that Pakistan isn't consistent. But the country itself is not consistent. Nothing in Pakistan happens the same way twice. On no institution can you entirely rely and that goes right to the top - in three-quarters of a century, no Pakistani prime minister has served a full term. I played for thirteen different captains, most serving multiple terms, I had four spells in the job myself. I was under the Supervision of Ten National Coaches and Nine PCB chairmen. I recoiled from Politics. But you know what they say, you might not be interested in politics, but politics is interested in you. It had a way of finding, frustrating, and tormenting me, finally as it expressed itself in the match-fixing controversies of the last decade of my career, it tainted me and it still does.

- Wasim Akram (Excerpt from his Memoir - Sultan)

What's Brewing Inside our Huddle

Well, we pretty much were glued yesterday discussing and debating about IPL auctions. With the Arctic freeze we were busy taking care of the family making sure the heaters are in working condition in case there is a Power outage.

🥤Sipper of the Day

Average 35 after 44 tests. Ravindra Jadeja's test average is better than his. Shikhar and Mayank's average is better than his but they are out of the team. And Rahul is India's Captain.
