AN ASK TO CRICKET FANS š¤
From One Fan to Other Cricket Fans.
I am writing to you to ask for help - to save a YouTube Channel.
I was incredibly sad to see that Robās channel was shut down due to what seem to be fake claims by a shady company that they own the copyrights. I donāt think I need to go into detail on what Rob did for cricket but for those who might not know the name off the top of their head- he is responsible for preserving thousands of hours of cricket footage over the years. He had a channel on YT where you almost certainly watched highlights on his channel if you looked for stuff over the years.
Recently a shady ācompanyā called Marhaba Cricket India reported copyright violations on YT. Robās page and all his videos on it were taken off YT. Comments on other posts (which Iāll link below) pointed out that the copyright claims seemed like absolute BS.
I want to actually discuss is what WE can do. I know there isnāt much but surely there has to be something. If we can all report the Marhaba Crickets page on YT with specific information to take down their page or if we can send emails to YT in large numbers to get them to reinstate the robelinda2 account? Iām open to ideas if anyone has them.
As per my knowledge, Rob has never profited from his uploads. Heās done it for the fans. We as fans kinda owe it to him to see what we can do to help.
TLDR: I want to know what we can do to help reinstate the robelinda2 account which posted a massive amount of incredible highlights and quirky cricket moments over the years.

SAD DAY IN CRICKET VIDEO HISTORY š¦
The guy who made all our experience of Cricket on YouTubeās channel was terminated today. Robelinda has done more for cricket fan engagement over the internet than any cricket board or ICC.

WHAT THEY SAID šØļø
Been thinking about this a lot.
What Dravid said about the 6th bowling option.

We don't have the option to have a 6th proper bowler but we have a wrong-footed inswinger menace whom we can go back for a few overs - he was close to doing in the last game with the crowd pushing him
That's a wrap. Stay thirsty and keep sipping your favorite chai you cricket nerds and see you next week.
