By Cricket Huddle

Good morning Cricket Nerds,
This is the Sip of Cricket. The Newsletter that makes cricket fans 1% smarter with every single read. We’re the fool-proof way to serve up juicy cricket insights without any guesswork.
Let's get right into it. Here's what we got today.

State of Cricket in USA
The Townhall planned by USA Cricket on March 3 has been canceled.
USA Cricket and ACE are communicating on operational procedures and policies with regard to Ace’s minor league cricket operations. Out of respect for these conversations, the proposed town hall schedule for this morning will be postponed to a future time. USAC is taking this issue very seriously and is working diligently to ensure the positive growth of cricket in the USA.
The town hall was intended to provide an opportunity for the USAC board to connect with owners and players of MiLC to discuss and understand the various aspects of the operations and how USA Cricket can help them. Hopefully, there is clarification about the sad state of affairs going forward. One can only hope!

Point to be noted
I think we were all asking and answering the wrong question. Test match cricket is certainly not dead, but 5 day cricket might be....

Quote
"I also think there are too many players who say the same boring answers, they don't even have to turn up to interviews because journalists answer their own questions the way they ask them. Unfortunately, the way it is now players are so afraid to say anything, but I'd like them to be honest."
Warne, you will always be the best!
